Crew 3006 Youth Marksmanship Group
      e-mail: crew3006

Crew 3006 is a Co-Ed shooting sports group concentrating on marksmanship skills and teaching youth the proper use of and safe handeling of firearms. We teach NRA based techniques to learn basic marksmanship skills and teach a competition style form of rifelry. All group members recieve personal instruction on sighting techniques, windage and sight adjustment skills, and 3 position shooting stances.
The group is open to anyone ages 10-17 who would like to join. If they want to learn competition marksmanship, advancd training will be offered. If they only want to learn basic instruction and just shoot with the group, that is OK as well. The group is first and formost a teaching and learning environment. Competitions is amonsgst ourselves. We do plan a trip in July to attend Camp Perry's two day SAFS (Small Arms Firing School) to shoot with the US Army Marksmanship Unit and receive basic instruction in EIC matches. This is not a mandatory trip and information can be obtained if interested.

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of month from March to September, 1pm - 3pm but may last longer depending on size and topic of the day. Membership in CCFSA club is not necessary to join, but a youth membership and supply fee will be required once decision to join has ben made. The supply fee is for the purchase of targets and range items.
The rifles we use are primarily single shot .22LR for beginners and precision instruction.
.223 Style Service Grade AR rifles for advanced training and SAFS competition.
And last but not least, The M1 Garand for fun and history!
