Crew 30-06 Youth Marksmanship Group
e-mail for more information:
Crew 30-06 is a Co-Ed shooting sports group concentrating on marksmanship skills and teaching youth the proper use of and safe handling of firearms. We teach NRA based techniques to learn basic marksmanship skills and teach a competition style form of riflery. All group members receive personal instruction on sighting techniques, windage and sight adjustment skills.
The rifles we use are primarily single shot .22LR for beginners and precision instruction.

.223 style service AR's for competition style training and more advanced members.

And last but not least, the M1 Garand for fun and history.
The group is open to anyone age 10-17 who would like to join. If they want to learn competition marksmanship, advanced instruction will be offered. If they only want to learn basic instruction and just shoot with the group, that is OK as well. The group is first and formost a teaching and learning environment. Competition is amongst ourselves.
Meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 1pm - 3pm or longer depending on group size and topic of the day. Membership in the CCFSA club is not necessary to join, but a youth membership and supply fee will be required once joined. The supply fee is for the purchase of targets.
